Liverpool vs Birmingham

It is another frustuated game for Liverpool. How can Liverpool win EPL this season since they cant even beat Portsmouth and Birmingham? Furthermore, the above game is at Anfield.

Verorin, Kyut and Crouch are nothing better than the slowest combination in EPL. I think Malaysia's Players have better first touch than them.

Kyut, you are too slow! Even you got a half open chance, you wont get it 99%. Please improve yourself. Otherwise, please go back to Holland ...

Veeorin, I dont even know you were playing in the match. What have you contributed? You are just another slow player. Your work rate is questionable and I think you are skilless!

Crouch, please go to play basketball. You are the player who I want you the leave Liverpool the most. You are just another Heskey who knows to stand there only? Now, England boss prefers Heskey than you. You have no future in football. Please admit you are not talented early and go to try your luck in basketball. But looking at the way you move around, I think you are not suitable to play any professional sport!

Our captain, Gerrard, please produces something. Look at how Zidane controls the ball and creates chance. You are just run out of ideas and your footwork has never improved.

Babel, you are not Henry. Please pass the ball and dont keep it too long or dribble all the way yourself. You are not good enough to do solo job. Otherwise, you will be another Gonzalez or Luis Garcia?

Crouch, please go back and i am sick of looking you in the team ...!!

Eto'o admits Liverpool admiration

Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o has admitted 'it would be wonderful' to play in front of the Kop for Liverpool.

The Cameroon striker, 26, has been linked to the Reds in recent weeks, with manager Rafael Benitez said to have placed him at the top of his summer shopping list.

Eto'o insists he is not aware of any approach being made by the Champions League finalists, but revealed his admiration for the club and its fans.

'The great thing about Liverpool is their team spirit - it is very strong,' he told the Sunday Mirror.

'But, for me, it is their fans who win matches for Liverpool because they have so much power.

'They are fantastic. Any player would love to have those types of fans behind him.

'I have played at Anfield in the Champions League quarter-final so I know all about their fantastic supporters.

'It would be wonderful to have that kind of support as a Liverpool player but I really don't know what will happen in the next two years.'

Eto'o believes he will still be at the Nou Camp next season, despite his much publicised falling out with manager Frank Rijkaard earlier this year.

He added: 'I have not heard anything from Liverpool or anyone else. These things don't come through to me.

'I'm only thinking about next season and I will be here next season. But every year that passes things become a bit more difficult.

'English football has changed a lot for the better over the past few years. I've seen English teams playing matches which have been very exciting.

'I love the way the fans in England get behind their team. I respect their mentality.

'They are so positive in supporting their own team rather than, as happens in Spain, being against the opposition.

'That's the big difference between England and Spain.'

Gonzalez and Zenden set to leave Reds

I have mix feeling when I read this news at Liverpoolfc.tv. I think Mark Gonzalez has a lot to offer to the team. He is great young players. He is among the faster player in the team in the pitch. His transfer to Real Betis is 'almost' reached and confirmed. Gonzalez, all the best and good luck!
Meanwhile, I am very happy when Benitez finally told Zenden that he can talk to other clubs. Zenden, I can not wait you to leave the team.
I would like to take this oppurtunity to stress that Alonso, Luis Garcia and Sissoko should be leaving as well. I am sick of watching they play for Liverpool. They do not qualify to play for Reds.
Alonso still 'got face' to come out and speak after the match. Please pack your thing and leave the Reds.
Luis Garcia is even worse than Gonzalez. Now, Gonzalez has decided to leave the club and I have no idea why Garcia is still in the team.
Sissoko, I think alsmot 99% of Liverpool fans do not want to see you in the club next season.

CL Final - AC Milan 2 - 1 Liverpool

I think Liverpool deserved to lose in the game. Neither teams produced quality football during the 90 minutes. It was a boring game with low tempo.
Once I see Zenden is in the starting line-up, I felt that he has nothing to contribute to the team. It was proven as he did nothing in the game. I was thinking why Benitez did not select Abeloa as he has done very well in marking Messi during the quarter final. Furthermore, Gattuso will not be able to produce the same good running like Messi at the right position there. Then, Riise will be playing at the left side. Anyway, everything is no longer important as Liverpool has lost in the final.
What did Alonso during the match? Nothing other than conceded a free kick to AC Milan which they eventually scored from the spot kick. Aggger, what were you doing and how can you let a player runs in front of you?
Then, I was surprised again when Benitez took out Mascherano instead of the useless Alonso when he decided to push forward by sending Crouch into the game. I did in my previous post that the only advantage that Alonso has is his long range accurate passings. However, his passings during the game were really nothing more than a joke. Second goal from AC Milan was mainly due to Mascherano was not there to block the trough pass. I really do not what Alonso can do. He is really useless!!
In conclusion, both teams did not play well and Liverpool deserved to lose the game as they had 2 useless players in the team that night.

Please bring in some quality players next season

I hope Liverpool will bring in some quality and complete players next season.
So far, I just can recognise 2 really good players from Benitez in 2 years! They are Reina and Agger. The rest are a joke or 'seasonal' players only.
Players that should not be in the team next season:

1. Jerzy Dudek - why keeping as he has passed his time? He cannot contribute to the club anymore. It is better to give Carson a chance.

2. Robbie Fowler - another old player who cannot play at high level anymore. He should know himself. Other than his finishing touch, what else he can do?

3. Luis Garcia. He is not a good player who always give away the ball easily. He is not good enough to play in EPL. Maybe he should go back to La Liga. He seldom contribute positively to the team. Frankly speaking, I was so happy when I know he will not play again this season due to injury. Otherwise, it is a frastuation is see he playing in the field.

4. Xabi Alonso. He is not a complete player and I do not see he should feature in the future plan. As a defensive mid, he should produce hard tackle, great running and excellent reaction. Other than his long passes, he has nothing else. Maybe he should see how Fabrecas plays for Arsenal. That is what we so called a 'complete player'.

5. Momo Sissoko. I think I do not need to spend anytime to say about the reason. The best word to describe him - 'useless'.

6. Boudewjin Zenden. He is just an old player who should not play for top club like Liverpool.

Portsmouth 2-1 Liverpool

It was another disappointment to see the combination of veteran players and young players failed again ...
I was so disappointed with the performance of the young players. Looks like Benitez never learn from his mistakes in bringing new players.
Just have a look at Gabriel Paletta. His performance was a rubbish. I cant even feel his commitment towards the match. So many stupid mistakes - poor positioning, poor anticipation, poor clearances and many others. I do not see any possibilites for him to become even a good player for Liverpool. He should learn more from Daniel Agger.
As expected, rubbish performances from Alonso, Sissoko, Zenden, Gonzalez and Fowler. As the senior players, they did nothing in the game. Their opponents is Portsmouth and not any strong team. Yet, they produced this type of performance.
Zenden, Fowler and Sissoko should be axed from the club next season.
Alonso should be trained for stronger physical and the most important thing - you need to run faster!! Otherwise, Alonso may joins Real Madrid as well since he is not complete player and there should be no position for him in the team
Gonzalez - He needs to learn to control the ball. He always gives away the ball easily. He needs to be stronger too.
